Drive Traffic with High-Quality Content

“Phone eats first” is a popular saying that customers often declare when snapping a photo of the dish that has just been placed in front of them at a restaurant. That’s because customers are obsessed with pictures of food. Don’t believe me? On TikTok, #food is the most popular hashtag, with more than 237.5 billion views. And on Instagram, #food is used more than 250 million times per month. This is why creating high-quality, binge-worthy content is so important for your business.

Follow our tips below for all the dos and don’ts.

Do:

  • Set up a date and time in advance to execute a photo- or video-shoot. Scout the location you’ll be shooting ahead of time – find somewhere with good lighting and in a quiet location if you’re shooting video. Take test shots in advance if needed.
  • Plan your shot list to align with your content schedule. If you know what dishes you’ll be capturing ahead of time, you’ll make sure to get exactly what you need for upcoming posts.
  • Consider purchasing a mini photo booth or ring light on Amazon for less than $100 to increase the quality of the content.
  • Ensure the image is clear and mouth-watering.
  • Have fun and get creative!

Don’t:

  • Post blurry, low-quality images.
  • Rush through your content shoot.

Your high-quality content is sure to increase engagement. Your followers will be more likely to share your posts, which in turn expands your reach and potential for new customers.
